Hi all,

Is the above possible?

I'm looking probably at a topeak wedge saddle bag but is there any way of having that also with a seat/post mounted bottle cage?

I'm looking at this but now sure how well it will all work/fit together when the saddle bag is also there

Other option which seems nicer is this:

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/tacx-saddle-clamp-for-bottle-cage/rp-prod34004#

But that actually mounts to the seat rails, which is exactly where the topeak quick release mount goes

Anyone done this? Is it possible?

If you don't have sufficient frame mounts, you can get tie-ons like these:

If you need more than a couple of bottles, look at a Camelback - but you can get water pretty-much anywhere in the UK

Firstly, why not use the cage mounts on the frame, assuming you have them.
How about fitting the Topeak mount/cage in front of the seatpost, leaving ample space for the saddle bag behind?

Thanks, didn't know they existed. I do have a camelbak, but don't want to take it on some shorter rides where I might just want a bottle.

Cage mount on the frame is right at the bottom of the frame (underside), so any bottle there will get splattered in mud, also my mudguard is covering one of the bolt holes

Didn't think about putting the topeak mount at the front, will have to have a look at that and see if there will be enough space to get the bottle up and out of the mount nicely. EDIT: Just realised it will be the same situation at the back with the topeak, so the bottle must fit easy enough

You could always fit the Topeak to the handlebars, see bottles mounted there quite a lot..
