Hi had the Altura Arran Expanding Post Pack on previous tours, but now have a new bike (Giant Avail) which has a D-Fuse seat post. I've been told that I won't be able to attach the Altura Arran on this. I was wondering if anyone knows of any alternatives? I loved this bag (link of it is below) - perfect size for all day touring - enough room for waterproof, some food, suncream etc.

I'm going on a 2-week tour, where I'll be cycling every day - 50-80 miles a day. Supported - so I only need to carry what I need for the day. UK tour - so wet weather gear is essential!

Any ideas? I'd rather not use a backpack, or a front handlebar bag, and don't really want to attach a pannier rack (not sure I can anyway on my bike). I really want a saddle / seat post bag...

:sad: Why do they put that sort of seatpost on a non-racing bike? That would probably make me choose a different bike.

Anyway, you can fit a rack if you want to https://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-gb/gear/product/giant.d.fuse.seat.collar/580/73454/

Otherwise, maybe go old school and try a carradice http://www.carradice.co.uk/index.php?page_id=product&under=range&product_id=43 Great size for day rides. You may want to get a bagman http://www.carradice.co.uk/index.php?page_id=product&under=range&url=bagman-sport-original or https://www.carradice.co.uk/index.php?page_id=product&product_id=147.
Or http://www.carradice.co.uk/index.php?page_id=product&product_id=88 to give the loops to attach it to your saddle. It's a leather strap around the seat post, so it will work with yours.

(though a carradice + bagman is >= £100 - yikes!)
