seat keeps tilting back

My seat keeps tilting backwards on long rides its tighten up to max on a carbon seat post How can i stop it tilting

Which seat post? Single or double bolt?

Possibly some coppaslip might help.

hi its a single bolt tighten up to 8 kn but still rides back

Ah, now.... the other week you were on here saying that hills were killing you. Now you're going up the hills your saddle appears to be tilted.

It's probably just the incline.

How many miles on the seatpost? Could be horizontal grips (technical term escapes me) not gripping owing to excessive wear.

Have you changed the seat at any point, the clamp may not be suitable for the diameter of the saddle rails

seat came with the bike. Its when i am doing anything over 40 miles with alot of hills its starts to move and i love the hills no walk of shame here

Cut up an old inner tube and fit between seat and clamp - the rubber will increase the friction and take up any slack in the clamp
