Cooking on the big day is a joint effort, my wife has done lots of prep already, we'll be peeling today; then I'll be doing the cooking whilst she picks up her Dad.
That means it's my job to take him home later; so it'll be evening before I can sit and relax; just us and the two children. Probably we'll open a bottle and play a board game.

Then a decent walk in the fresh air on Boxing Day - try to burn some calories!

Happy Christmas all!

4.00 pm - Crib Service
11.30 pm - Midnight Mass
8.00 am - Mass
10.00 am Mass
12 noon - Sherry (and quite possibly a small cigar)

A serious question as it interests me.
What can you do/learn at those 3 masses that you can't do in just one of them.
Please don't think I am having a dig....it is an honest question.

First one will be on chain maintenance
Second will frame cleanliness
And finally the third one will be how to avoid being sucked into buying all the latest gizmos and gadgets 😂

Just wanted to say Seasons Greetings to you all whether you partake or not. Whatever you all do have fun and make the most of every day next year.

Was thinking of you (as you have been where I am).
Christmas has never been a BIG thing for us but this will be the 1st one on my own**.
But I sincerely wish a good, happy day and a better 2024 to all on here.
** the family want me to join them but I think I would just spend the day wishing Sue was with me.
