what the heck does this mean??

no idea... but a search for 'track pump' returns 34 pages of results with the box unticked, and 14 pages when ticked... so maybe search only containers returns one post per thread, otherwise all posts in any given thread are returned, if that makes sense?

This is from a search enhancement add-on and ticking it searches the title and first post only - I've modified the phrasing to make this more obvious: Search first post and title only
