Screwfix let me try on trainers!

On a similar 'try before you buy' to the Argos watch thread.......... I was guided by a kind person on CC highlighting some bargain trainers at Screwfix. I placed an order online (so I'd already paid, it has a difference to the Argos thread!), anyway I turned up the next day and was presented with the trainers. Not thinking I'd get anywhere I said "do you have a fitting area? It's pointless going home and back again if they don't fit". The helpful guy went out the back and brought me a chair to sit and try them. The good news, is they fitted and at £10 an absolute bargain.

I've always found Screwfix to be very helpful, they refunded me last year on two items that had fallen short of performance expectations no questions asked.

I have a pair of these non safety trainers and I've walked all year and up to 20 miles at a time in them no problem.

Waterproof as much as can be expected too.

I like to search 'clearance' in their site searches bar, brings up all sorts of stuff, some of it real bargains
