Screatching Front Brake

Hi

I bought a new CycloCross bike yesterday and took it out for its first ride today (30 mile round trip on road), however when using the front brake it screatches so loudly.

What / How do I stop this ?

I believe it is a cantilever. The bike is a Cannondale CX Tiagra 9.

Someone has mentioned that I need to "Toe It In" ? What do I need to do here ?
