Scram force 1, weak brakes

Iv’e got a 2019 trek with the above disc brakes, since I’ve had it the front brake never seem’s to have any real bite & feels weak.
About a year ago the pads were changed but still the same feeling,the back one isn’t to bad.
Any suggestion's ?.

Well it’s hydraulic & they don’t feel like any air in the lever.
I have taken pads out & cleaned them also sanded pad face .

Have you done the whole alignment think where you slack off the mounts, squeeze the brakes on and tighten the bolts again?

Not a bad idea - I find a blow torch can rescue lightly contaminated pads.

Ok will try bleeding first & go from there, I do have a blow torch😬.

That made a huge difference to my cable disc brakes. They went from barely stopping me to being as good as or better than the good rim brakes on my other bikes.
