These are superb cycling books all routes marked out and all info about stops and places of interest to visit .

I have used my other books for the Dales and North Yorkshire for years .

Just to be boring..... are these books any good postman? I was considering getting the central scotland one but read a comment from someone who reckoned it wasn't that good for 'beginners' as they felt the moderate rides were quite difficult and there were only two or three easy rides listed in the book?

There's a few books available for rides around Glasgow. Some of them are quite good for ideas, but I've found the best thing is an OS map and a some get up and go.

Not knowing the area at all .I am in no position to say either way .

But if they are crap only time will tell .But i can say they are well made and produced .And one man's good route could be anothers crap one .

The Dales one and North Yorkshire are dog eared at this end of the country .
