Blimey - "Come and have a go, if you think you're hard enough!"

That would be a seriously hard and exciting route to tackle in one go. You would have to be pretty fit (and a good bike handler) to do it in less than (say) 3 weeks.

It would be good to take your time though and enjoy the scenery, but then you'd be talking more like 4-6 weeks?

I think that's the point - Cycling UK are planning an off-road LEJOG route, and this is presumably the northern half of it.
