Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyre sizing

Hi

My current tyres have written on the tyre wall '700x40c'.
I have seen the tyres on-line but the size nearest to my current ones are '700x35c'

Will the 700x35c tyres be OK an OK swap?

I swapped from 700x40 to 700x35 marathons on my Giant Roam2. Depends upon the wheels you have.

Very unlikely a width difference of 5mm on a rim which takes widish tyres will make any difference.

Fit and forget is my advice.
