Anyone else have problems with this tyre? It keeps popping out of the rim when I inflate it. I've never had this problem with tyres in the past.
Any tips?
Thanks

Have done..... About 20 times. Had problems with it last night, finally Managed to fit it. Went for a ride today and got a puncture. Same problems as last night all over again. Its never the same part that pops out either. Its as if the wheel is too small

I have had that problem with the schwalbe Durano plus tyres on my bike.

I use a tie wrap to hold the tyre on the rim while I get the bead sat right, I even had that happen one day when I was riding the bike.

It only seems to happen since I bought the non-folding version, it never happened with the folding versions I had before.

Thanks I'll try the rim tape idea tomorrow. and yes I've always had folding tyres in the past, wouldnt want to have to carry tie wraps with me in case I had a puncture on the way to work though.

This seems to be a problem with wire beaded tyres. What happen is that the wire becomes "tired", excuse the pun, and stretches. The tube pushes the tyre up and comes out under the bead. I had the same problem with a Maxxis cover and just had to junk it.

Even on a brand new tyre? I've put a new tube in and pumped it up to 100psi so far so good, but am worried about it doing it while riding fast down a hill

Who did you buy it from? Have you used these tyres before? Maybe speak to them, if the product is faulty then they should replace it, if not contact the manufacturer.

EBay, so a pain to send back. But if it happens again that's what I'll be doing. Have noticed others having similar problems with this tyre elsewhere on the internet. Seems OK now though

I had a few issues with them, although nothing as drastic as yours.

I binned them in the end (to many p********** and cut to bits by the roads round these parts.
