I wouldnt think so, only if you have limited clearence between your current tyre and your frame or , oddly , your front derailleur. Some "fat" tyres will foul against framework or other bike parts. All you can do to be sure is not go bigger than you are now. However I would question your tyre choice. Have a search for Ritchey Comp Z-Max. Low rolling resistance on tarmac, good deep tread pattern that seems to work on just about any surface, grass, mud, hardpack, woodland mulch, gravel, but ive not tried rock coz theres none around here ?? and a fantastic price deal currently being sold at £15 per pair, delivered. I normally love a Schwalbe, but in this case, I made an exception and am so very pleased I did.
