Scalped after 52 miles

I got scalped this morning around 11:30 by a dozen or so in Musselburgh, one lass I'd already seen (well been scalped by!) about 6 miles previous at Longniddry. Anyone from here?
I was on mile 52 or so of my 'taking it easy after a couple of lemsips yesterday' route so the ego didn't feel too damaged ;0) but boy they were quick!

Garmin just on default - never thought to change it to be honest.

I did almost the same route yesterday, spooky. Normally I am doing other things Saturday morning and see said cyclists heading east at around 10:15, I think it is the Edinburgh Club. Yesterday I had a chance to go cycling instead, so thought I'd find them and be join in boy. Cycled 40 miles and saw ............... 1 cyclist going my way. Rubbish.

p.s. I like the totally over top data display. Sure everything is measured?

If a group passes you it is not a scalp as such as a group will be going much faster due to the pace making and slip streaming effect. Also they could have much superior equipment and you will have been tired with 52 miles in your legs.

It wasn't me Dave but that route looks similar to a ERC club run.
