Saved 500g with new wheels!

Got some Easton aero wheels and put them on my bike today with 4 season tyres. I weighed them and also weighed the stock giant wheels with bonty racelites I took off and found them 500g lighter! Did a 42 mile hilly ride and it made a hellova difference.

How deep are they and what was the wheel weight?

Easton Aero's are 30's and weight approx 1700 sans tyres/tubes.

A pair was supplied with my VN.

There was some talk on forums about the tyres bring impossible to fit on aeros but I didn't find out too much of a chore (without levers).

Was easy enough with Vittoria Rubino's.
