I have a TomTom One SatNav, which I bought for my car and was wondering if there is any kits available that would make it useful for my bike. I'd be looking for some way to attach it to the handlebars and to keep it charged - I have a solar charger, but it's not very powerful and I haven't had a chance to test it with the SatNav as yet.

Does anyone know of such kits?

I thought I saw that there was one available but can't remember where I looked, guess I just searched on google. I do take mine in the saddle bag just in case I get lost on the way home, put it on loud volume on the odd occasion I;ve used it and got some very strange looks. I;m useless with a map. But have a reasonable sense of direction though it's a bit different taking a wrong turn on the bike to in the car.

The cigar lighter 'plug in' drops the car's 14V dc for the USB connector.

You would need to run the TomTom off a PowerMonkey, but the battery life will still be poor.
The screen's backlight will sap the PowerMonkey. Can the backlight be turned off?

Don't take it out in the rain.
