As the nights have drawn in and I don't really want to go out in the dark after work I've purchased a turbo trainer to use during the week to try and improve my fitness.

Anyway I record all my outdoor rides on my Garmin 500 which I upload to Strava and am now wondering if there is a way to record the time I'm on the turbo and upload it to Strava.

Any help or advice on this appreciated on what I may need to purchase to do this and how I set it up.

Thanks

I have the cadence counter and speed/distance pick up on the turbo bike.

Thanks. I'm not bothered about mileage although it would be nice just uploading the time to Strava so I have a record

I do not do strava but I do log my time, speed, distance and HRM by downloading the info to the computer.

If you are going to reply with a "witty" comment at least use the full quote, but if you did then your reply wouldn't be relevant.

"if there is a way to record the time I'm on the turbo and upload it to Strava."

Your request is pointless nobbery tbh. Maybe you have been reading to many twatty cycling magazines? Do you really want to "improve your fitness" or tell people what you have "done"?

Perhaps you could explain why my request is pointless nobbery. I haven't been reading too many twatty cycling magazines as you suggest bug do want to improve my fitness and keep an electronic record of my time on the bike.

If my question was too hard for you to answer then please keep your childish answers to yourself and let people who have some of knowledge of the subject answer.
