Ninjas don't need safety goggles.
could have easily taken an eye out.

How many takes do you think it took?

Meh. It's a plastic BB so will have been travelling slowly to begin with; even moreso once it's travelled the "70ft" to the bloke with the sword because they're light and slow down quickly.

On top of that it's heading almost directly towards the guy so should be relatively visible and predictable.

Not to say that there's no skill involved but it's not the superhuman feat they're trying to sell it as.

is it not a case of pistol shooter hits sword?

as long as samurai boy raises his weapon consistently to the side of his head, all pistol boy has to do is aim for a target behind and right of him and with a few attempts and good timing the two will connect.

Yes it's not a superhuman feat, but it's pretty impressive nonetheless. Airsoft guns aren't that accurate at 70 ft. They can be quite good, hitting other players in skirmish games, but not thickness of a sword blade accurate so the shooter couldn't just have been aiming at an agreed point that the swordsman has practiced to swing through. He would have been aiming at that rough area but not enough to rely on it. Velocity falls off a lot as the plastic BBs are very light, so the swordsman would have been able to see it coming to a degree but would still need fast reactions. At a constant 200mph the pellet would have covered the 70ft in 0.22 seconds but with the slowdown it may have been something like 0.3s. That's still less time than a batsman in cricket or baseball has to react and the blade and pellet are fractions of the size of bat and ball.
