More of a newbie boast than a post really!
Went out on a ride with my mate today up over Salisbury Plain and the Imber range path. That and cycling to the plain clocked up 42 and a half miles.
Not a lot for the rest of you but a pb for me, ive only been cycling since August.
My only mistake was underestimating how effing claggy the mud was, rather than change to the proper nobbler tyres like my mate, i thought i'd be brave and keep the continental travel contacts on. Due to the wheel spin on some uphill sections, i feel like i have done 50 miles.
Nothing a good glug of rum wont fix...
Boast over!
