I think we need more cyclists in this country so that it becomes regarded as a normal activity

well - when I say cyclist - I mean well behaved ones.
At the moment there are too many that ride on pavements as if pedestrians should get out of the way and jump red lights.
It is a small number but they are the ones people notice - like I notice the moron in an Audi on the motorway that cuts across all 3 lanes and then back again to get ahead
but do not remember the 99% that drive perfectly normally!


but at the moment we need more sensible ones.
Round here here are very few badly behaved one for some reason - but so few that most people hardly see them and wonder why we have so many cycle paths (including the "loba whit line down the side of the road and chuck in a claim for a grant for cycling infrastructore" ones!)

When the numbers are like thar put the cars on the narrow paths and leave the roads to the bicycles.
