So what saddles are available with the loops to take a Carradice? I know I can get a SQR thingy but I've already got a Bagman. I so far know of Brooks and Spa. My Brooks have all creaked and I have been a fan of Spa for the last couple of years however currently they aren't playing nicely in a customer service way so I'm wondering if there are any other saddles out there I could use?

Any saddle.

(I haven't tried these)

Now I wasn't aware of those. Off to have a looksee
Have a look at ViVa bag loops too - I have a set on a Fizik Aliante, and they're excellent. Used them with a fully (commute) laden Lowsaddle Longflap one summer, althouh they're most often used with a Super C Audax for rides where I want more than I can fit in jersey pockets along.

Thanks all. I've spent 2 years thinking my saddle choice was limited and have a small collection of saddles that came with bikes that never made it out onto the commute.

I could never get my carradice saddlebag to "sit" right until I got one of these.

I got one of those (from Spa Cycles - £2 cheaper) but found it a PITA to fit on my saddle. I got there in the end but it took a whole afternoon.

And when I did get it fitted, the saddlebag sat on the back wheel so I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

I'm going to be ordering one of these next week in the hope that it'll address that problem.

Sorry, I should have clarified a bit more. My bike has a rear rack fitted, so the weight of the bag is taken by the rack. What is good about the saddlebag clamp is that the holes that the straps go through are slightly further apart than if you used the Cyclo Loops, and I found this reduced the amount of side to side "swing" which a fully loaded saddlebag can be prone to.
