I have over the last 6 months lost about another 5 % body weight putting me at 10 stone 4 llb and i am finding the saddle i used to be very comfy on now just is not .
I can really feel the sit bones on the saddle even with padded shorts on , should i look to change saddle shape ?
Currently using the boardman fizik clones ...

I have heard many a good thing about the charge spoon and wondered if that might be a better shape ?

Saddles are very personal. The good thing about the Charge spoon is that it isn't expensive so if you can't find a way to try it out via a saddle library you won't have lost as much as you might otherwise.

I've got two Charge Spoon saddles and find them really comfy. One replaced a Specialized Rival, the other a Selle Italia SL. The Spesh was OK but the Selle was awful, I slid around on it and, I'm sorry, but feeling something sliding around under your sphincter is just wrong.

And, as alicat says, the Charge is inexpensive.

That Boardman saddle certainly did not agree with my buttocks and has got to be the most uncomfortable saddle I have had the misfortune to bruise me nethers on !
I have got a Charge Spoon on one of my bikes and found it quite comfortable, though I can't guarantee you would too.
The Spoon is pretty cheap, so probably worth a try. Certainly, I would rather sit on a cactus than the Boardman offering !

went out today for a club run and my bones are still aching !
Bit the bullet and ordered 2 spoons , i figure at the price i paid i can shift them for minimal loss if they are no good.
