Finding the stock saddle on the Tricross very uncomfortable, I have a rather skinny boney arse and the generally lack of padding ie very hard saddle is taking a lot of the new enjoyment out of it.

The Charge saddle seems to get rave reviews, is the padding that much softer?

At £18 it is not much of a gamble but thought i would get some responses around the padding?

Also the Tricross 2012 is basically black all over, so is it black seat only or you think a touch of bright red saddle would not go a miss

Aces I might have a spoon in the shed you can have. I'll look for you later, just can't remember if I got rid of it.

I don't think its that padded though.

If its a new bike might just need your arse to get used to it. Best advice I can give is get your arse measured on one of the specialized things and go for the right width.
I ended up with a Romin saddle, best thing I've bought for the bike.

Its not the padding that makes a saddle comfortable or not, it weather is suits your sit bo es. As in the previous post, see if you can get them measured and buy a suitable one. You have to try a few and be prepared to sell or swap it a few times untill you get o e thats spot on. And when you do.... Buy a feq spares as they will go out of production or change.
