Yep, the selle SLC isn't going to work. A pity cos it looks great!
A spoon isn't too bad, but after an hour and a half it's game over (this was ok for longer to start with but I've lost a lot of my own padding since then), the stock saddle is also no go.
Doing some proper research this time, and measuring my sit bone width (115mm centre to centre) it looks like the common factor with the three saddles I've tried might be that they're all between 135mm and 138mm wide. The spesh system suggests that I'd need a wider saddle than this, from 144 for aero positions going wider for on the hoods.
There are so many options it seems a nightmare. I'm pretty confident I've got the bike setup right now. 4 hours is the most I've done and managed it ok, albeit a little achy up top.
So.. Brooks? Im wondering if this could be an option due to the wide build and the moldability of the leather.
I realise that no one can give any kind of answer as its all based on personal experience and there seems to be no real science to getting it right.
