A good friend of mine has a 9 year old son with cerebral palsy and he is looking for a saddle to put on a bike. The saddle needs to have some sort of light back support and a lap belt. He is able to just sit up unaided but the idea is to give him some extra support so he can take his mind of keeping on the saddle and get on with cycling. This saddle is to go on a regular 20" wheel childs bike which with stabilisers.

This link goes to some saddles that might work:

The top saddle on the link is more substantial than I was thinking of and the second one down doesn't have a lap belt, I was interested to see if anyone has any other ideas or links to other saddles?

Those are the way I would have thought of going.

They are made by Mission Cycles

Van Raam do a series of adaptations (Truck Support on the link) including a back support, seen on this image, but not in the catalogue, so it may be worth emailing them
