I have a Batavus Barcelona fitted with a Sachs Torpedo hub brake. I've done a Google search and found out that this is effectively the same thing as a SRAM T3.
The front brake seems a lot more effective than the rear brake. I've downloaded the user manual and adjusted the rear brake according to it. Using the rear brake only will eventually lock the rear wheel but it brings the bike to a halt in a rather leisurely manner.
Does anybody know if there are any serviceable parts inside the brake that can be checked or replaced? I thought it was best to ask before I pulled it to pieces.
