Runny Nose - URGENT

right, my nose is running like a tap due to a 2 yo acquired cold and I have a really big wedding tomorrow where in addition to blowing the client away I want to impress the venue to get in with future work (its my kinda place). Right now I can't go 5 minutes without sneezing.

I've hit up on those things you sniff and liberally slathered happinose about which has led to no success.

Right now I'm considering shares in kleenex.

Sometimes hay fever/allergy tablets have worked for me in the past at 'drying you up'. Otherwise just.get an early night and sweat it out.

Sudafed during the day, Actifed at night I think you have to avoid booze

Plenty of water tonight- vicks on the chest and back if you have some for when you go to bed - those lemsip extra strength capsules in the day but paracetomol at night to try and get a good nights rest and of course early to bed.

Hope it's bearable tomorrow mate and that you get repeat commissions.

Don't worry about it, just think how much wedding cake you can have when you spray snot all over it with a good humungus sneeze, then wipe your dripping snot box on the brides dress, telling her that you usually use your sleeve, but as she'll only be wearing her wedding dress once you might as well use that before she puts it into a charity shop.

Antihistamines are definitely the way to go.

Dairy products can cause excess mucus, as can (apparently) orange juice, especially if you already have a cold. Friend of mine cut out dairy and her runny nose stopped. Wasn't an overnight thing, but i've heard it happening for a few other people as well.
