I went for a run yesterday, nothing massive, simply 3 miles.
Legs ache today so I'm going to stretch them then go for a very gentle high RPM bike ride on the road in low gear.

Is this wise? To lightly train my legs whilst they still ache?

I will most likely be playing hockey tomorrow, so just wanted to get the stiffness out of my legs.

Depends how seriously you take the hockey. If you want to be fresh and/or the game is important, then just rest. If it doesn't matter either way, then just do what ever you feel like.

Yeah true, Summer League so it's no big deal!

Going to go out for a spin later on, although this wind and rain is not selling it to me.

Try leaving more time for recovery if you can, get a massage roller to help get rid of aching muscles and try Branch Chain Amino Acids to help muscles recover faster and reduce muscle soreness

Cheers guys, the bank holiday went well for me.

Did a 30 miler in Cambridgeshire on Monday and went for a run Fri and yesterday. So feeling the fitness increase a fair bit.

I'm also looking at upgrading my Carrera Virtuoso to the following potentially - Specialized Allez - hardly used apparently. I've got the price down to £350 region but have to go pick it up.
