After carefully reading the rules as set by others. I can only assume that. unless, you are a cycling god. Only rule 5 would apply to us plebes. So therefore. As us beginners are on the first step to cycling heaven, should there be a section in the rules that applies to our lowley status. or would that be seen as being in breach of Rule 5?

those rules. I would have thought rule 5 would apply to absolutely anyone of any standard in certain circumstances. I wish I could have remembered it yesterday, 45mins into a 50min CX race...

There's heaps that apply to each and everyone of us- Rule 20 always makes me smile (although this in turn feeds back to rule 5!)

how about making some of our own? for instance, rides of one hour or more should not be attempted without adequate number of jam sandwiches.

Everytime I find myself miles from home on my bike I'm really grateful I didn't take up running. So rule 42 has a certain resonance for me.
