Accidently washed a pair of Knog love/hate leather gloves in the washing machine, and they came out very stiff and probably a bit smaller. Have I managed to destroy them or is there a miracle cure out there?

Glycerin saddle soap should help, lightly dampen a sponge and rub a thick layer of soap onto it (it shouldn't foam or you've got too much water). Sponge the soap onto the gloves and leave it to soak in for a few hours. Wipe off any excess soap and repeat. If you do it a couple of times you can then stretch them gently once the leather starts to soften.

this hardness used to occur with leather inserts in shorts and leather palm gloves - fix was to rub some boot dubbing to soften it which worked.

Neatsfoot oil. Rubbed in and left to absorb it'll make them soft, supple and water resistant.
