RSX STI Shifters

Hi,
I have a wee problem with my 7 speed rsx sti shamano shifet , being that the gear cable is now jammed inside it. Does anyone know how to access these shifers to remove/replace the cable.

I'm assuming the nipple end has fed through into the shifter? If so, same thing happened to me and it's a lot of careful fiddling and faffing and lots of patience to feed it back out and pull the cable through the right way, I'm afraid. Try a combo of coat hanger type wire to give you a hook to grab any cable and long thin nose pliers.

You can take the cap off the front of the shifter, but I wouldn't dismantle any further than that.
