So we've all graciously been given the day off on Royal Wedding day Friday April 29th, and lets face it, a day off work is...errrrr.... a day riding.
So lets get out and ride. Im suggesting a free ride, starting in Richmond Park, because Westminster might be a bit busy, and following the Olympic Road Race route. All you have to do is show up.
Just one lap around Box hill instead of nine, and in total it makes 70 miles.
I have plotted the route acurately, as I live in the area, and anyone wanting to join in should drop me an email at stuarts@rosacanina.co.uk and I will send the route through. I know its in the public domain but have you seen their mapping skills
As I said, its free, lets just see how many people we can get out, the more the merrier, and it a good bet the roads will be quietish as well.
There wont be an official guide, its purely a show up with your own map and ride, and if enough people show up there will always be people to ride with. No waiting around, and a good level of fitness is presumed, this wont be for the school run riders.
What do you say ?
Help me spread the word and lets get lots out.
Stuart
