When you get back from a ride, do you always follow the same routine when / before you put your bike away?
1) I take the reading off my handlebar computer.
2) hang the bike on its support and clean both wheels.
3) Give it a tap on top of handlebar and say:"well done."
Then if I have used Endomondo I record all the info on my computer and also in my diary.
Creature of habit, me!

Not me.... Homelife's generally too hectic to predict what's going to happen when I get in.

Tomorrow morning I'll be too knackered after a 9 hour nightshift to do much more than lock the garage and crawl in to the shower, then bed. If the predicted heavy rain arrives in the early morning and anything needs sorting on the bike, it will wait until I get up.

I do keep a log running on the laptop, with all my mileage on it, but that gets done later too.

Broadly speaking, there's a set of things I always do (put bike away, take off bidon, computer, etc, etc)... but I don't think I'd class them as routine! The closest thing I have to routine is to have a shower

I know some like to clean/oil the chain after a ride but that's pretty close to the last thing on my mind!

Arrive home, bike into hall. Shower and get changed. Bike out to garage, washed and oiled if it's been wet, pop in stand and lock down to ground anchor, garage secured and that's it. If stuff needs adjusting, that get's done too. Same for all 4 bikes.

1) Peel body off bike.
2) Completely forget all the little running niggles that I noticed whilst out riding, and resolved to sort out as soon as I got home.
3) Go inside, kiss wife, have shower and make a coffee.
4) Talk about my ride.
5) Leave dosing wife on sofa and go on CC to talk about my ride with people who are interested.

I dismount, raise the bike above my head and run round the street shouting 'Yeah! How d'you like them apples?'

1. Put bike away in garage
2. Go to hallway, remove bag, jacket, helmet, cycling shoes, gloves and put them in various places to dry.
3. Dry self with towel
4. Put towel on sofa, sit on it whilst uploading ride data
5. Shower
and almost always then... 6. Walk dog

Yep, routine here too.
