I have this vintage Rory O’Brien and need any info regarding the make mode and year if possible. Also how and where to find spares for it.

That's a nice looking frame ,shame about the chrome on the rear stays , the rest should clean up nicely

Sure there is a really old thread on here about Rory O Brien's

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Nice frame but needs a lot of work. Any number on the BB? A full build with period parts would be quite costly.
What are your plans for it?

This ^^^.

I'd strongly recommend, that you keep the original finish. What's interesting, is that you've ROB decals/transfers that I don't recall having seen before.

I reckon it dates some time between 1955-1960. Could you possibly add some more pics, especially, one of the rear brake bridge.

Thanks for all of the replys so far I appreciate it. This was my buddies granddad’s old bike. The number on the BB is 6294. The plans so far are to just get it up and running, I was hoping to find a broken donor bike or some spares for it.

Hi,

I'd put money on that frame having been built by Les Ephgrave - a frame building legend.

Les was well-known, for using brake bridges of exactly the same (diamond shape) on many of his bikes.

The image is of a brake bridge on an Ephgrave frame.

Keep the bike, don't re-finish the frame - just give it a wipe over.

You've got a very desirable bike frame there - do some research on Les Ephgrave - he was a frame builder of the highest renown.

You're going to have to sympathetically repaint the rear half of the chainstay, no matter what. That rust is too bad to just ignore and since the whole frame is likely to be 531, the steel is not going to be that thick.
