Assan Bazayev may have something to show after a decent turn at the Driedaagse de Panne, as could Steve Chainel. I would like to see Fuji give it a shot as this will be one of the biggest races all year for them, and Ermanno Capelli is brave enough but probably does not have the power.
Columbia's team is awesome and gives them several hands to play. I do not want to say Boonen, and I wonder if Heinrich may be a bit tired so I will fly the Greg van Avermaet flag.
The women's race has almost all of the big names you would expect. Good news for us Brits is that in addition to Nicole Cooke and Helen Wyman for Vision 1, Leda Cox for ESGL and Catherine Hare for Fenixs, there is also a Great Britain national team. It is composed of Lucy Martin, Alex Greenfield, Katie Colclough, Jessica Allen, Annie Last and Jo Rowsell. It is hard to expect a lot of them but Greenfield, Martin and Last have turned in pretty good rides in the smaller Belgian races so far this year, as well as Het Nieuwsblad.
Marianne Vos, Andrea Bosman and Noemi Cantele will all push it hard, but I tip Emma Johansson for the top spot.
