Shame, but with her specialist event not in the roster and the team she was to be in winning a world championship without her I'm not surprised.

i seem to remember that she might be trying a different sport and trying for a triple gold triple sport. like greg says, it's a shame, but no surprise.

It do feel sorry for her, with the current strength in British track and road cycling its getting harder all the time to make the team.
