Rollers and heart rate zone

Hi Forum folk,

Many are suggesting the use of rollers over the winter period. What is the best heart rate zone to train in whilst using said rollers?

Depends what you're training for :becool:

Given that boredom is a problem with most indoor cycling (although possibly roller riding requires more concentration and thus produces more excitment than a turbo) as hard as possible might be a pragmatic answer as you'll give up after 10minutes of moderate effort, so you may as well get the max while you're on them :smile:

do a pyramid sesion . 15 secs on, 15 off, 30 on, 30 off, 45 on, 45 off, 1minute on , 1 minute off, 45 secs on, 45 off, 30 on, 30 off, 15 on rest for 10 minutes then do it again. thats one of the best sessions you can do
