Think he's gone up Windy Bank(local incline) a few times on a converted bike.Love it . Have you ridden a trike?

Mine differs slightly from the Clubman shown on these two sites ,the axle bearing housings are turned down to a lip that the lock ring goes against and the lugs are different, the brochure for the Record says they were built with Haden Concorde lugs but I’m not having much luck finding a picture of them online to compare with.

Whoever wrote that has a tenuous knowledge of trikes: "the right side differential was designed for riding on the left side of British roads ".
I visited his house as well, when I took my tandem trike to have a new cassette (was a freewheel block really). He did a splendid job.I once had to visit Ken Rogers to collect a pair of hubs. He 'finished' them while I was there, turning the drilled centre hole into a hex by drawing a bolt-head through it with a hydraulic press. Later I had to file the corners to make it fit the axle.
His house was right under the end of a Heathrow runway, and conversation had to pause every minute or two as a plane roared over.
A lot of his trikes were converted bikes. He also made bolt-on trike conversions. Never had quite the same cachet as Longstaff or Higgins, but perfectly serviceable.
