Just picked up a specialised enduro expert fitted with Rockshox revelation 426 U-Turn forks. I'm new to all this suspension stuff and have a question about these.

As I am sure you know, they have a key on top of the left leg for adjusting travel between 100 and 130mm, with a "ruler" printed down that leg showing what you're currently set to.
When I got them there was way to much positive pressure for my weight (like 300psi or something) so I set about adjusting them as per the instructions.

So, set to maximum 130mm travel, using my shock pump released so some pressure till it was more appropriate for my weight/achieved proper sag.
However on doing this the "ruler" has vanished into the lowers and now looks like its set to only 100mm (even though the dial is set to 130)... So am I still getting 130mm?

If not, how am I meant to get full travel AND have the sag set right? If I jack it back up to 300psi and bring the "ruler" all the way up again, the sag is all wrong, it hardly registers that I'm sat on the bike.

If they are U-turn then there is a knob on the top of the left leg which you turn - this winds the travel up or down and the 'ruler' should re-appear

Nah it doesn't...
I dropped it down from the insane 300 or so psi, to a more suitable... Think it was about 115psi.
As I released pressure the fork sank into itself (set to Max 130mm for this whole procedure as per the manual) and now, still wound up to Max, the rule says I'm only at 100mm (in the 130mm setting on the dial)

you shouldn t be able to get 300psi into that fork its 100psi over the maxium.

I dunno what the guy had been doing to it but the needle on the shock pump was waaaaaaay over the right.

I sorted it now guys anyway, had to dump all the negative pressure and re inflate it and its all good now.

Dunno if I got the rear shock set right mind lol its set according to recommended psi for riders of my approximate weight but feels to saggy to me.... Maybe its right but I'm just not used to all these bouncy bits
