Rock Shock Recon Pressures

Hi All

I have just recently got a new Giant Talon 1 29er with Rockshock recon's on the front.

I have never had air shocks before and wondered if they need topping up regularly/occasionally in the same way I check the tyres. If so I guess I will need to get a proper pump for them as I understand a normal track pump for the tyres wont work/go to a high enough pressure.

Yes, you need a proper pump - search for shock pumps on wiggle/amazon etc, and the amount of air you should put in is normally shown (advisory) on a sticker on the shocks, or in the documentation for them.
