Hello

I'm looking for a new pair of road shoes, which will take look cleats.
Only want to spend about £50.
Can anyone recommend anything.

Decathlon do some good ones for circa £50 here I had a similar pair and they have been fine. Not the most trendy looking but that does not stop them being stiff, hard wearing and functional.

If you go a little higher in price to maybe £60 or £70 you can get Specialised road shoes with their body geometry soles which are comfy I have these . Word of warning with these though, sizing does not follow normal shoes. I wear a 10 to 10.5 and the best fit on the Specialised shoe was a size 12! so my advice on these was try them on before buying if you buy online.

Hope this helps

Plenty of shoes around for £50, but since no-one knows which shoes will fit YOUR feet then its pretty pointless giving recommendations. A pair of £200 shoes that don't work for your feet could be the most uncomfortable shoes ever.

Might be slightly out of your price range but my first (and current pair) are Specialized. Theye were reduced to £40 as it was only one size left (mine!).

The most comfortable cycling shoes I've ever tried on by a long way. I have Look Keo cleats on mine too.

Thanks for your replies.

I've gone for the DHB R1 and am pretty pleased with them so far.
