I have four different types of Specialized shoe, which are all in the same size and all comfortable. Each of them has different qualities so it's hard to say which one is best.
Sport '06 - The 3 velcro straps were the easiest to set up quickly and then only the top strap needs to be touched. Tightening is a bit hit and miss, so sometimes it feels too tight or too loose across the bridge.
Pro Road '08. The most fiddly - you have to adjust the position of the straps buckles using a screwdriver. Mine has 2 velcro straps below but I find the middle one is never snug enough once the top buckle is tightened. I'm on my second set of ratchets now as they wear easily. Tightening on the go is easy but in large increments, and if you tighten too much it is a bit fiddly to press the release button.
Trivent '09. This is a 2 velcro strap design; the bottom one only needs to be set at the beginning. The big strap feels as though wraps around the whole foot uniformly, but off all my shoes it's the only one which can rub a bit over the talus if the strap isn't quite at the right angle.
S-Works '10. Surprisingly easy to set up but very fiddly to use. The top BOA ratchet needs to be undone a lot to get the foot in and I envisage a break at some point (spare BOA kit is about £15). I find it takes a while to put them on but once the foot is in you can turn the dial in very small increments until it feels just right.
Of your choices I would choose the 3 velcro straps simply because if I wanted to change the tightness I wouldn't have to loosen virtually the whole of the top of the shoe.
