Unfortunately Martyn Ashton broke his back before the video was completed (although the accident was at another event rather than filming this) so there are a couple of friends making an appearance too so the video could be finished.

Always good to watch Martyn Ashton in action.

I'm still gutted for him after his accident earlier this year. I know the prognosis is not good but I'll still be keeping my fingers crossed for him.

New from Martyn Ashton
The first Road Bike Party video saw trials legend Ashton swap his usual trials bike for a Pinarello Dogma 2 road bike, the £10,000 Tour de France racer was then subjected to trials, street and even park riding, in a clip that redefined what was previously thought to be possible on such a bike.

Road Bike Party 2 arrives less than three months since Ashton suffered severe spinal injuries after a fall during a trials demonstration. Ashton's progress can be followed on hisTwitter page.

Great film. I'm glad they got it finished and I hope Martyn's recovery is going well enough for him to ride again one day.

My next road bike is going to have disc brakes, in fact all my future bikes are going to have them.
