Road Bike for 7yr old

I am trying to get hold of a road bike for my 7 year old lad, I have bid on a couple of Decathlon 7.0 on ebay just lost out.

What do people think of these and does anyone have a good bike available top budget is about £75 and this includes donations from me mam towards his Christmas gift. All he wants at the moment are some road tyres for his Mountain bike but i was hoping to realy make his Christmas by coming up with a road bike for him, he is already up to 15miles on his heavy bike at the moment

Isla bikes do road bikes but they are 9+ and £250

ebay have a couple but more than you want to pay

My kids started with the last version of this, just available from Decathalon France at the moment. Most of the little ones in the area start their racing careers on these. Very difficult getting hold of small road bikes. Good luck with the search.

I saw one in E17 bikes last weekend although I strongly suspect it wasn't for sale

you could ring them and ask where it came from though

Went to islabikes couple of weeks a go an d the roadbikes start at 7 years old now but they are a lot more than you want to spend,nice bikes though.
