Shut Up Legs

Hi all,

As some of you may know, I've booked a 1 week cycling tour of the Pyrenees and French Alps for this coming September. I just asked the tour operator about what hire bikes they have, because that's one of the package options (which I chose because it's easier than getting my own bike across the world).

They said they're
Ritte Ace, full carbon, Ultegra, compact
Sounds like it's well-suited to cycling up 20 peaks in 7 days, but I was wondering if any of you had tried one, or heard about them, and could tell me a bit more?

Regards & thanks,

--- Victor.

Not sure about the Ace itself, but Ritte do very nice frames. I've been lusting after a Crossberg for some time and their Snob is a thing of beauty.

I have a Ritte Vlaanderen, the Ace is the frame that replaces the Vlaanderen and the geometry is the same. It is very comfortable to ride, being built for speed as well as all day riding. It's great for a 30 mile blast or all day in the saddle. I rode London-Brighton-London on this bike with no problems whatsoever.

What I also love about Ritte bikes is that they're so different to other bikes on the road, and you don't see many of them about.

They look amazing.

Came close to pulling the trigger on one, but ultimately couldn't justify paying so much for what is effectively a fancy paint job.
