Oh, the memories. I had a P21 for a short while. Unfortunately the chainstays were holed and I never rode it much. They seller was a decent chap and I got my money back no worries. The frame went on to be repaired and lives on I think.
Even in the short time I had it I realised it was the most responsive MTB I had ever ridden. You remember the original bikes? I still use an Allsop suspension stem now!
One thing I couldn't see on the link is whether there is still a weight limit for riding them!
Yes, I remember the P-23, P-22 & P-21, and Thomas Frischknecht riding them
And, all the componants that Tom Ritchey offered, including chainsets, hubs, rims, etc.......
(as an aside, I first raced MTB, back in 1990, when I had a Pace Research RC100)
Allsop, yes I remember that too, wasn't it a parallelogram? (looked more complex, but possibly better damping than the Pro-Flex OffRoad?)
Frischy at the 1991 Nations Cup (Leeds) when it was run on the 1992 World Cyclo-Cross Championship course (where Roger Hammond won the Junior rainbow)
