RIP Robbie Coltrane

Sad news that Robbie has died.
He always made me laugh, his portrayal of the ghost of Christmas past in Blackadder was basically Hagrid 15 years earlier.

didn't realise he was that old (though suppose he must have been)
He was brilliant in Cracker - a daring series in many many ways - wonder if it would be made now.
I well remember being in a meeting where someone who did PR for Granada mentioned its imminent launch.
meant nothing to me at the time.

I was listening to an interview with French and Sauders who were also in the film.

His portrayal of Fitz in Cracker, written by Jimmy McGovern, set in Manchester, was a masterpiece.
