He doesn't, or didn't look that bad. I'm 64 and some folk think I'm 10 years older. It's that rock 'n' roll lifestyle we've lived. 🧐 Which is far better than only drinking herbal tea, reading the bible every day and in bed before 9pm!

Plus he was 'only' 69 which was the age my dad and both grandads died. If I get to 68 and 11 months, i'll start to make plans!

Always regret not seeing the Jam back in '78 at the Reading Festival. Friday night was a punk lineup, but we bunked in on the Saturday and saw Status Quo, then Sunday and saw Patti Smith. Too long ago now to recall how we missed our teenage kicks on the Friday.

Last couple of years at school, we used to bunk into the local speedway stadium to watch Reading Racers.
Being under age, we sent the biggest lad in the gang to the bar, and we were delighted to be able to sup pints of Double Diamond.
Here's a pic of the end of season event in 1975, where medals and whatnot were given out

You can just about see David Hamilton in the back right, there to do the honours giving out prizes.
Sorry for going off topic, sometimes nostalgia really gets a grip.
