Lost interest in electronic music after Jean Michelle Jarre and never heard of this artist but I'm sure Klaus Schulze has his fans as evidenced by this post.
Any loss is tragic and I send my condolences to his family and fans.

I was quite interested in German electronic music in the ’70s, notably Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream.
Schulze was a busy man: more than 60 albums in 50+ years.

Yes, he was fairly prolific. As well as the 60+ albums, he released a box set of 50CDs of unreleased and archival recordings.
