How do you know if your rim wear is excessive and your wheels need replacing?
I have some Mavic Aksium Race wheels that came with my bike and I have done about 3,000 miles on them. I've noticed that the rims have some wear but I don't want to replace them if they have more life left in them. I'd say they have around 1/2 to 1mm wear.
